POULOS BROS
ONLINE ORDERING WEBSITE
Ecommerce Home Ordering solution built in under one week, to help restructure a long standing client to online ordering during the COVID19 pandemic.
The Story
Poulos Bros is Sydney's leading supplier of fish to to Australia's best restaurants. With the closure of restaurants during the COVID19 situation, Poulos approached MOBLE to add-on our Home Ordering extension to their existing MOBLE website.
The Villain
No two websites are ever the same. Despite Polous Bros having near perfect out-of-the-box requirements; with 90% of their requirements handled as standard by MOBLE's ecommerce solution and home ordering module, there was still a degree of custom development that was developed rapidly to support that clients needs.
These we features such as bundled products for Mothers Days, and specific requirements on minimum orders for online shipping, and pick up days.
The Hero
Because the website was already built on MOBLE CMS, the design and CSS was already in place. There were over 100 products that needed to be loaded, all with specific pricing and attributes.
Products were uploaded in bulk via a spreadsheet exported from the Poulos Bros ERP solution. Given many product pages had different design layouts, MOBLE's upload feature automatically determined, which products would adopt which design layout. This saved hours of work, and ensured the website was rolled out inside 5 days.
The MOBLE platform is so easy to work with. It's allowed us to pivot the wholesale business to a retail business during a time of crisis. As a website manager I can get into the website and change what I need to. As new tools were developed by MOBLE, I've really enjoyed the training and support, I highly recommend Web School training.
The Happy Ever After
The Poulos Bros website has been live for a few weeks. It was excellent to work with them to understand there specific requirements which became generic features of the MOBLE platform, for all to use.
