QR Code Check In

CHECK IN

  7PM, FRIDAY NIGHT

It's date night, Sally is heading to a restaurant. By chance she stumbles across the The Taps Hotel and pops in for a quick schooner to settle her nerves.

She Scans a QR Code to Check-In and is invited to join the new Virtual Venue. She is incentivised with VIP member pricing, plus a special $20 credit towards her first purchase of a case of craft beer.

It's an offer she can't refuse. She opts-in and a $20 Credit is instantly applied to her account.

SMS AUTOMATION

MESSAGE AUTOMATION

  5PM, TUESDAY NIGHT

Next Tuesday, Sally is sent another automated SMS from the Virtual Venue. It reminds her about her $20 credit, plus informs her that there are $10 take-away dumplings in the first week of joining the Club.

Sally is excited, it's Girls night on Thursday, she clicks through to the Virtual Venue. She buys four lots of dumplings. 

At checkout, she decides to Pick Up at 5:30 on Thursday, she selects that time slot, and pays on her credit card. She saves her credit card on her account for future purchases.

Label Printing

PICK UP WITH LABEL PRINTING ON CHECK-IN

  6:15PM, THURSDAY NIGHT

Sally arrives at the venue at 5:15. Even though she's early, that's ok. As soon as she Scans the QR Code to Check-In, her food order instantly prints out at the kitchen and the cook prepares her food.

Pick up Experience

PICK UP EXPERIENCE

  2 minutes after she Checks-In Sally receives a Timed SMS.

The SMS reminds Sally about the mixed case offer, and also suggests a bottle of wine.

Sally decides the Mixed Case is too heavy to carry, so she adds a bottle of Rosé and a bottle of Riesling to her cart. As she Checks out, she's pleased the cart has remembered all her details including her credit card info. As soon as she buys, a label prints out at the bar. 

The food is now ready. It's brought to her with the wines. Girls night, sorted.

Home Delivery

HOME DELIVERY

  5PM, NEXT TUESDAY

The Venue team realise lots of customers have unclaimed credit. Maybe the Mixed Cases are too hard to carry. A new SMS is sent to all customers offering $5 Home Delivery this Friday Morning.

Sally gets the SMS, she's delighted that she'll have the beer for the weekend. She instantly checks out.

You decide to deliver the Mixed Cases yourself for orders close buy. For those orders further a field, you use MOBLE's integration with Sendle. When Sally gets home on Friday, her Mixed Case is waiting on the porch.

VIDEO GIFT VOUCHERS

  FARTHER'S DAY IS COMING, SALLY GETS ANOTHER SMS

"We're delivering Mixed Cases this Sunday Morning. Make this Father's Day special with a Video Gift Voucher. Order now, cut off Weds Midnight."

Perfect! Sally orders immediately. As she checks out she records a special video message to Dad. She is charged $5 at checkout for the Card. All your orders are automatically sent for printing the next day.

VIDEO GIFT CARDS

Video Gift Cards are the perfect addition to your Virtual Venue. Video Messages are instantly uploaded to the cloud and assigned a unique QR Code.

You can choose to print your own Gift Cards, or use MOBLE's printing service. Your cards can be collected from St Peters, or you can pay $15 for them to be shipped to your venue via MOBLE's integration with Yello (book before 2pm). In the example above, Sally's card would arrive with you on Friday. If using Gift Cards to incentivise the opt-in, you might choose to print your own cards. A range of special Christmas Cards will be available from November, and can be bought from the MOBLE website.

Queue Jump

QUEUE JUMP WITH ORDER AHEAD 

  7PM, FRIDAY NIGHT

Sally is on a work event across town. She gets another SMS about the launch of take-away Bloody Mary's tomorrow morning. Sally is feeling in the mood, she instantly buys a couple. She books in her collection time at 11am.

Next day Sally arrives, there's a long queue. Locals have seen the signage and are queuing to pay. Sally is in luck, she notices a 'Queue Jump' QR code on the wall. She Checks-In, her order is instantly printed out at the bar. Her name is called and she's feeling pretty smug that's she's a local of such a great venue.

Table Ordering

TABLE ORDERING

Table Ordering in Australia hasn't taken off, largely because available software platforms take a commission. Why would you ever pay a commission for customers that are already in your venue? Fortunately, your Virtual Venue with MOBLE is commission free!

  7:30PM SHARE PLATE NIGHT

Sally arrives at the Venue for a second date. She Checks-In at the Table and is instantly directed to the Menu on her phone. Her friend also Checks-In at the same Table. It's Share Plate night, both order a bunch of food and drinks then checkout separately on their phones. All Food items are printed in the kitchen, all Drinks are printed at the bar.

Cash Up

CASHING UP

Share Plate Night was a fun and notably a hit with the Tinder crowd. You notice that the total order size per table was up, possibly because those awkward bill payments were resolved in advance.

You export all orders from your MOBLE website and import to your POS/ Accounting System. You're feeling happy the night was such a success and start to consider where you can advertise Share Plate Night. You're particularly happy that Sally's friend is also now part of your Member Club, tomorrow at 5PM, he'll get the message about $10 dumplings.
